Funeral Services will be Thursday, October 13th at 11:00am at South Park Baptist Church,
followed by a graveside service at Laurel Land Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday,
October 12th from 6-8pm at Laurel Land Funeral Home. Born August 14, 1930 in Grandview, Texas,
she was the daughter of the late W.E. and Gladys Stewart. Emma and her husband, H.B.
were the proud owners of Veterans and H.B. Green Furniture for more than 40 years,
where she worked as a bookkeeper and kept everything running smoothly. After the passing of her husband,
she became a sales person at Furniture City, owned by Gordon Wolf, and later a bookkeeper for
her grandson at Kimberling Furniture. She enjoyed Bingo, watching her favorite shows,
Wheel of Fortune, General Hospital, and any kind of sporting event. Her biggest passion
was watching all of her grandkid’s and great-grandkid’s play sports. No matter the day, time,
or weather, she was there. Our Memma was a strong, intelligent, courageous, generous,
loving, kind woman who touched more lives than she ever realized. She will be deeply missed
Emma was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, H.B Green and two brothers,
Vernon and Donald Stewart. She is survived by her daughter Sharon Kimberling and husband, Gordon.
Their daughter Shannon Kimberling and partner, Mickie Cooksey and son Shane Kimberling and wife,
Kim and their children, Haley and Brant Kimberling. Also surviving is her son, Danny Green and wife, Chris.
Their daughter Heather Chandler and husband, Greg and their children, Greyson and Brayden Chandler.
Their son Denver Green and wife, Krissi and their children Landon, Eli, and Lyla. Their daughter Meghan Griggs,
and husband, Chad and their children Emma and Keatyn Griggs. Their sons Hunter Green and Carter Green.
Also, her sisters Margie Henson and Patsy Cain and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
