Dorothy Perry Alread, 92, of Fort Worth went home to the Lord on Tuesday, Dec 27, 2016. Visitation will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, Dec 30 with Graveside service to follow at 1 p.m. at Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park in Fort Worth, TX.
She was born August 27, 1924 in Lipan, TX to Charles and Myrtle Perry. She married G. Pafford Alread on August 10, 1941 and later obtained a Bachelors degree in Government from the University of Texas in Arlington in 1974. She was an active member of her church, Handley Church of Christ in Fort Worth, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband. She was a good friend, a great listener, and a constant learner. Her survivors are her nieces, Lori Alread Wright and husband, Danny, Nicole Alread Beavers and husband, Rick, along with great nieces, Kambree Beavers Baxter, and husband, Russell, Blythe Beavers, and Cayla Wright also great nephews, Micah Wright and Carter Beavers.
