Donna J. Hobbs

Visitation will be on Thursday, December 15, 2022 from 6:00-8:00pm at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Home.

A funeral service will occur on Friday, December 15, 2022 at 11:00am on Friday, December 16, 2022 at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow in Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery.

Donna was born in Cleburne, Texas as Donna Jeanne Armstrong. She was the third of four sisters. Donna’s family moved from Godley to Keller where she grew up and went to high school. During her high school days in Keller, Donna played basketball and learned piano. She later played the organ for her church for many years. Donna was married to Victor Lee Owen and together they had four children.

Donna worked as an Administrative Assistant for over 20 years at several government agencies. Her last assignment was the Administrative Assistant for the Chief of Operations at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing in Fort Worth. While at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, she met her future husband, Bob Hobbs. The two were wed on December 30th, 2009. Bob and Donna retired from the Bureau of Engraving and Printing in 2013.

Donna is preceded in death by her first husband and her daughter, Sherri Lynn Belvin. She is survived by her current husband, three children, eleven grandchildren, one great granddaughter, and one great grandson on the way. She loved spending time with her family and will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
