Delores Patricia Marshall Was born to David and Mary Ramsey in Opelousas, LA on January 31, 1937.
She had five siblings Dorothy, Clara, Nora, Jessica and Michael.
She attended Pontiac Central High School where she participated in basketball, glee club and cheerleading and graduated in 1955.
on June 29th, 1957, she married Charles Marshall becoming a military wife bearing four children who were blessed to call her mother. As Charles served his country overseas, Delores worked as department store manager and managed the hardheaded kids at home.
She later worked as a real estate broker and an insurance office manager. As a real estate broker, she understood open houses and ensured that she brought that into her home. The home was constantly open to friends and family. In fact, some of the children's friends took up temporary residence and referred to her as Mom.
She was a lifelong servant of the Lord. As a child and teenager, she attended Trinity Missionary Baptist in Pontiac, MI. After moving to Fort Worth the family joined Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church to which she remained a faithful member until her passing.
Delores is proceeded in death by her husband, mother, father, four sisters and a brother.
She is survived by her sister Jessica(Frank), her children Ray, Kay(Will), Larry, Harry; grandchildren Whitney, Tony, Keshawn, Aliana, Josiah, Asia; many beloved great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
