On Monday, May 3, 2021, Debora Moning passed away.
The life of Debora Moning began on the twentieth day of October in the year of nineteen hundred and fifty-seven in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born to the parentage of Ernest and Armmie “Bobbie” Woodard.
At a young age, Debora was immersed in the Christian community that would be her lifelong support throughout her life. Growing up, Debora was a pretty girl, with sandy color hair and a beautiful smile. She played the flute, ran track and was an active member in the ROTC. Before graduating from Polytechnic High School in 1975, she met and fell in love with Terry Wayne Moning, a union that would last 45 years.
Debora’s professional career started at Texas Cold Storage, where she was the head Billing Manager for many years. She then decided to use her brilliance and start her own entrepreneurial career. With this entrepreneurial spirit, she and Terry started the company called, “Multi-Tronic Community Services”, a tax preparation entity. After having many years of success in this business, she started another outstanding entrepreneurial endeavor with Avis Rent-A Car.
However, Debora’s creativity did not stop there. She expressed her love through baking and was blessed with the expertise to start making professional cakes for people in the community. They loved every bit of the sweetness. She shared this love of baking until the remainder of her life. Debora’s hobbies included completing crossword puzzles, watching Korean love movies, and sewing.
Debora was kind and soft spoken and always had time to answer a question, or solve a problem, no matter how small. She was a friend to many and went above and beyond to meet anyone’s needs. She raised three children with patience, discipline, and humility, and taught them that they could achieve anything! She will be dearly missed by her loved ones.
Debora was preceded in death by her dear mother, “Armmie Bobbie Woodard,” and her grandson, Ryan Maurice Martinez.
Debora is survived by her husband, Terry Wayne Moning,Sr; and her son, Terry Wayne Moning,Jr.; (Diana) of Lompoc, CA; daughters, Dr. Laquita Renee Martinez, (William), of Atlanta, GA., and Jeanette Diann Moning of Fort Worth, TX; Ernest Woodard (father) of Fort Worth, TX; Dorothy Moning (mother in law) of Fort Worth, TX; Steve Moning (brother in law) of Fort Worth, TX; Tichi Levine (Bobby) (sister in law) of Fort Worth, and two sisters, Mrs. Beverly Brown, (Willie) of Whitehouse, TX., and Mrs. Jacqueline Cashmere, (Reggie) of Las Vegas, NV.
