Blake Austin Hasty

The memorial service will be held at 11:00am, November 20, 2021 at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Home. Pastor Bill Moore of Cornerstone Church will be officiating. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Shannon Rose Hill funeral home.

Blake was born in Ft Worth, Texas on December 20, 1987. He graduated from Arlington Heights High School 1 year early with Scholastic achievements. Blake had no desire to continue in formal education because he believed he could learn more from the people he associated with in real life situations, and he excelled in this, his own form of further education. “It teaches me how to live a full and meaningful life helping others excel”. Blake believed in God and felt his body, heart, and soul were tools to do Gods work.

Blake shared his life with Brianna Ramos “Sleeper”, his soulmate and best friend of over 10 years. Her road name was “Sleeper”, because let’s be honest, that was also one of her passions in life. They met through Garret, a mutual acquaintance and began their incredible journey together. Blake and Brianna were very seldom apart. They shared many of the same moral beliefs and worked together making positive change in everyone they came in contact with. They shared their lives with Stitch and Frankie, the family pets who also played a very important role not only as comfort support but also as workout partners. They joined in every morning for the daily routine.

Blake worked as an Apprentice Plumber and helped to learn the family business in his spare time. He enjoyed many hobbies; he played the drums, a passion of his and which brought much inner peace in times of struggle. He enjoyed being a Rap artist and toured the Texas Oklahoma circuit. Photography and digital media production were also areas he exceled at, creating many videos for friends, charity organizations and his music career. He played sports throughout his life, namely Ice Hockey and weightlifting where he achieved 4 World Records. He was also actively involved in the Southern Dawgs MC, where he used this platform to work with Law Enforcement, First Responders, and many charities to help change their lives. The Texas Scottish Rite children’s hospital, Move over slow down initiative benefitting Emergency services, and most recently started work to feed the homeless in the Ft Worth area, and so many more. His involvement with charities helped him find his place and purpose in life. He lived to help others in need.

Blake accomplished many things in his short life here on earth. All through his life people have approached Jessica with kind words of his character, and mannerism like “This man had more heart than most”. “He knew the meaning of loyalty and the value of a handshake”, “He had love and respect for everyone”, He had respect for his elders, and was regarded as an “old soul”. His friends and people he met would always thank Jessica for having him. Blake changed and touched so many lives.

Blake is survived by his son Blake Hasty Jr.; Mother, Jessica Worthington and husband, Clem; Father, Jack Hasty and wife, Cathy; Grandmother, Lorenza Bybee; Step brother, Jerame Worthington; Best friend, Aaron Vassar; Mentor friend and cousin, David Ontiveros; Numerous Aunts, Uncles, and cousins, many brothers from the Southern Dawgs, and other family and friends.

Blake is preceded in death by Partner Brianna Ramos; Great Grandmother, Maria Martinez; Grandfather Terry Bybee; Step-brother, Kennith Worthington; and Southern Dawgs brother Preston “Cheeze” Wehunt.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to a non-profit organization of your choice, in his name or simply Pay it Forward in his name. The family of Blake Austin Hasty wishes to thank all in attendance, Family, Friends, and everyone that remembers him through the work he did with his many side journeys and projects.
