Born August 15, 1936 and passed on May 29, 2018. Bettye was classically trained in ballroom dancing, ballet, and tap; Graphic Artist for a publishing company in Dallas; licensed pilot; Teacher of Health and Science at Trinity Valley and Weatherford; RN at John Peter Smith, BSN at UT Arlington, Legal Nurse Consultant, Director of Nurses at Oakbend and Care Unit in Fort Worth, and a Nursing Home Investigator for the State of Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Vida Reed; and her son David Crockett. She is survived by 3 daughters, Beth, Laura and Erin; sister Marynan and husband John Wehrung; sister Diana Reed; 6 grandchildren; her Life Partner; and loving dog Theo.
