Betty was born January 2, 1931, in Richardson, to Carl and Sudie Hudgins. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and Mamaw. Betty was also an accomplished executive/entrepreneur.
Betty met the love of her life while riding on a Fort Worth city bus where she met Thomas “Tommy” Moore. On August 15, 1947, they married and had three children. Their love story continued for 69 years. Together they were known to their family as Bingdaddy and Mamaw.
Betty enjoyed time with family, traveling, cooking, and cheering on family racehorses. She loved Jesus and was a member of Meadowbrook United Methodist Church.
Together, Tommy and Betty founded Ft. Worth Tower Company and built the business for over 40 years before retiring. She was recognized as an accomplished executive in the cable TV industry, a truly pioneering accomplishment in the 1970's.
More than anything, Betty was dearly loved by her family for her loving heart, ever willing desire to help, joy in family gatherings, faithfulness to her husband, and love of the Lord. Her family has no doubt that when she arrived in heaven, she heard the Lord say, “well done my good and faithful servant”.
