Funeral: 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Tarrant County Humane Society.
Betty was born Oct. 11, 1931, in Arlington and moved to Fort Worth where she resided for 48 years. Her greatest love was her family and her dogs.
The family would like to extend a special thank-you to Mrs. Bonnie White for her love and companionship.
She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved son, Bobby C. Powell; siblings; and cousin, Mary Lou Eaton.
Survivors: Her beloved children, Frank Collins of Azle, Bill Collins of Fort Worth, Darrell Collins of Azle, Janice Collins-Heath and husband, Gary, of Burleson, Jeanne Hykel and husband, Bill, of Alvarado, Tomboy Collins of Fort Worth and Lynn Avelar and husband, Hector, of Dish; 20 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and beloved dog, Harley Joe.
