1926-2022
On February 8, 2022, Ann Phan was born into eternal life, her promised inheritance by the Lord. Ann was a faithful disciple of Jesus Christ and a loving daughter of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of God. She was married to John for 66 years before he died. John and Ann had twelve children: Long, Thai, The, Tinh, Nuong, Thoa, Tam, Hang, Ha, Phu, Dat, and Dai. While John worked to provide financial support, Ann labored tirelessly at home to care for her family. When their children were grown, Ann worked outside the home before retirement. Before and after retirement, John and Ann had traveled to Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, China, France, Italy, Portugal, Israel, Canada, and throughout the United States. Years passed, their children married, providing John and Ann with daughters-in law, sons-in law, grandchildren and great grandchildren. John and Ann were profoundly pious and religious. They adhered to strong Christian beliefs which they instilled in their children. Their life together was centered in their Roman Catholic faith, with daily praying of the rosary and attending Mass as a family. As a widow, Ann lived a full and active life traveling with her children, presiding at family gatherings, and attending Mass. Ann was blessed with physical stamina, a sound mind, and a deep faith in God. For her entire life and with her whole being, Ann loved God, John, and her family. In return she was much loved by the Lord, the Blessed Mother, John and her family. May the Lord reward her with eternal life in his heavenly Kingdom where she is praying for her children and descendants. By God’s grace and providence, we shall meet in eternal life to join John and Ann in the communion of the saints and heavenly hosts to be embraced by the beatific vision of Almighty God.
