She enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed making crafts with her church friends.
Alene was preceded in death by her parents Murl Orman and Jane Coffer; her brothers-Lesley Orman, Elvin Henderson and Jimmie Morgan; sister-Mary Simpson and a great granddaughter Abby Magee.
Alene is survived by her spouse of 62 ½ years-Doug May, daughter, and son-in-law- Janie and Doug McDade, son-Doug May Jr.; sisters- Juanita Henderson and Sylvia Morgan, brother - Gary Holt. She has 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and lots of friends.
A visitation will be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home Friday, January 10, 2024, at 11am followed by a funeral service at 1pm and burial at Laurel Land Memorial Park.
