Aaron was born in Americus, Georgia and made the world his home. At age 18 he joined the US Air Force and retired as a MSgt after 20 years of service. During his service he was awarded the Air Force Meritorious Service Medal, three Air Force Commendation Medals, and six Air Force Conduct Ribbons.
He went on to earn a BA from Texas Wesleyan University and began a 16-year career with the General Services Administration, during which time he also completed an MBA and Masters of Management degree from the University of Dallas. He held numerous positions, including Supervisory Marketing Specialist and Deputy Regional Director for Marketing for the Greater Southwest Region and Fort Worth, Texas.
Upon retirement, he became an avid cruise goer and visited many places in the Caribbean, Mexico, and the Pacific Northwest on these voyages. In addition to the seaward adventures, he also traveled extensively throughout Europe during and after his military service. His most beloved activity was dancing, and his passion for it never waned. He effortlessly became a vibrant member of salsa dancing communities across the globe, and was known to some very close to him as "Sugar Foot". Anyone who had the pleasure of seeing him dance would definitely agree with this moniker.
Aaron lived his life to the fullest and he spent each day determined to suck the marrow out of all that life had to offer. He was a poet, an accomplished martial artist, chef, and photographer, and his love of travel was met with an equal love for languages. His charm, radiance and wit will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
