William Bill E. Lichtsinn

William E. “Bill” Lichtsinn, Sr., 73, passed away May 6, 2010 at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Ft. Wayne, IN. He was born March 14, 1937 to the late William H. and Helen (Dustman) Lichtsinn. Bill was a proud Marine Corp Veteran, having served for 9 years; he worked for K-Mart Distribution Center for 29 years and at Nishakawa Standard for five years. He was a model ship builder and was interested in cars, drag racing, boxing, and making his yard immaculate and working on his pond. Bill is survived by his wife of 50 years, Barbara “Sue” (Davis) Lichtsinn; his sons William E. “Bill” (Chanda), Jr. and Mark E. Lichtsinn; his brothers Albert (Marcia) and Paul Lichtsinn; his step-mother Roselyn Lichtsinn; his grandchildren Steven William (Nicole) Lichtsinn; and his great grandchildren Kerrigan Elaine and Brayden William Lichtsinn, all of Ft. Wayne. Funeral service will be 1:30 PM Monday, May 10, 2010 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Rd., Ft. Wayne, IN with calling 1 hour prior. Visitation is also Sunday, May 9, 2010 from 4-8 PM. Burial will be at Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials can be made to Turnstone – Pediatric Speech Therapy or Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home.
