William L Campbell

William Leo Campbell, 78, passed away on January 3, 2021. He was born in Fort Wayne, IN on November 16, 1942, the son of the late Burl and Lee "Bea" Campbell. William worked at International Harvester / Navistar for 38 years before retiring as a supervisor of material management. He was a member of Sons of American Legion Post 47, Masonic Lodge Summit City Lodge 170, Scottish Rite Valley of Fort Wayne, Mizpah Shrine & Khyber Rifle Gun & Pistol Club, Elks Lodge of Angola and Eagles Aerie location 3164 of New Haven. William loved to golf and watch sports of all varieties. He is survived by his significant other of 16 years, Barbara Gustafson; children, Kevin Lee Campbell, Keith Campbell, Kraig William Campbell and Kenton Layne Campbell; grandson, Kolyn Campbell; sister, Shirley Goddard. He was preceded in death by his biological mother, Cecilia Saylor. Visitation will be held from 4 pm to 8 pm on Monday, January 11, 2021 at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., Ft. Wayne, IN 46805. A private burial will take place in Covington Memorial Gardens, Ft. Wayne, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to Shriner's Children's Hospital.
