Shirley F. High, 88, of Ft Wayne, passed away Monday, September 27, 2010 at her residence. She was born October 8, 1921 in Detroit, MI. She was a broker for Rose Lane and High Realty. She was a member the Order of the Eastern Star and Grace Presbyterian Church. She was interested in genealogy. She is survived by daughters, Diane (Robert) Ries, of Hendersonville, TN and Debera (John) Hicks, of Churubusco; sons, Rev. Dr. Max E. (Rebecca) High, Jr., of Ft Wayne and Rev. Dr. Brian C. (Andrea) High, of Tekama, NE; brother, Tom (Betty) Cox, of Ft Wayne; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and sister-in-law, Virginia High, of Ft Wayne. She was preceded in death by her husband, Max E, in 1994 and brother, James Cox. Funeral Service is 11:00am Monday, October 4, 2010 at Grace Presbyterian Church, 1811 Fairhill Rd. with calling 1 hr prior. Visitation is 2-4 & 6-8pm Sunday at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton, Wayne St. Chapel, 420 W. Wayne St. Entombment in Lindenwood Cemetery.
