Selena Lewis

Selena LEWIS, age 78, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021, she was born May 31, 1943 to the parentage of Garfield and Ora D Cummings in Greenwood Mississippi. Her parents relocated to Elkhart, Indiana in 1957 and she attended Central High School. Selena moved to Fort Wayne to raise her children. After a while she decided to return to Elkhart, where she found employment with the Versailles Factory, working until she retired. While living in Elkhart Selena married her long-time friend Larry Lewis in 1993. Selena lived life to the fullest, full of spirit and ambition. She was a no nonsense kind of lady, with a firecracker personality! She was immensely proud of her family, leaving behind nothing but beautiful memories to cherish. She was preceded in death by her parents , her eldest daughter Doris Stephens, her sister Rosetta Cummings, her brother Tobe Smith, 3 grandsons Alastair Stephens, Dishawn Sanders, and Leon Sullivan Jr.Those left to cherish her memory, her daughter, Sharon Davis and her son Mikel Cummings both of Fort Wayne. Three sisters; Minnie Lee Wilson of Sacramento, CA, Ora Lee Cummings, and Georgia Macon of South Bend; Four Brothers, Mayo (Alice) Cummings, Edward Cummings , Raymond Cummings all of Fort Wayne, and Herman (Tornette) Cummings of Indianapolis; 18 Grandchildren and 55 great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

A funeral service for Selena will be held Friday, December 17, 2021 at 12:00 PM with Calling one hour prior at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Home - Lakeside Park, 1140 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46805.
