Sandra L. Baker, 70, of Fort Wayne passed away on Friday, December 22, 2017. She was born on May 14, 1947 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, a daughter of the late Jack and Coleda (Cornett) Bishop. She worked at home raising her family. She was very devoted to her family and will be remembered for her humor and ability to light up a room. Surviving family include her daughters, Denise (Thomas) Shaw and Donna (Thomas) Sheets; daughter-in-laws, Sarah and Kelly Baker; 14 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sisters, Charlotte (Bruce) Knuckles and Donna (Richard) White; and brother, Clay (Linda) Bishop. Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her sons, David and Darrell Baker; and granddaughter, Jessica Baker. Funeral service will be 11:00 am on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Rd., Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Wednesday, December, 27, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Prairie Grove Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to the family.
