Robert William Donohue, 78, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024, at home in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 11, 1946 to the late William Donohue and Emma Walsh. Robert worked various jobs before he retired after 22 years at Michelin BG Goodrich in Woodburn, Indiana. He loved watching sports, such as golf and basketball before he became an avid pickleball player. Robert played in Fort Wayne Pickleball Inc., where he found his chosen family. He played in tournaments in California, Arizona, and Michigan. Robert is survived by his wife, Rosalyn Donohue; a grandson, Kyle Boothroyd; and four stepchildren, Douglas (Tonya) Fuhrman, Christopher Walter, Shawn (Jennifer) Boothroyd, and William Boothroyd. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at the Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 1505 Bethany Lane, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46825, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
