RICHARD W. WOLFE, SR., 89, of Fort Wayne, passed away Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013 at his residence. He was born Oct. 6, 1923 and was a Army Veteran of the Korean War. He retired in 1988 as co-owner of G & W Radiator and Gfell & Wolfe Phillips 66 at the corner of S. Anthony and Creighton. He previously co-owned Parkview Texaco on Maumee Ave. He was a member of the St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church for over 60 years. Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Ann; sons, Richard W. (Kathleen) Wolfe, Jr. of Fort Wayne, Robert L. (Debra) Wolfe of Fort Wayne, James D. (Rebecca) Wolfe of Fort Wayne, and Thomas J. (Judy) Wolfe of LaGrange, Ind.; six grandchildren; three great-granddaughters; sister, Martha Zuber of Hamilton, Ind. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013 at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, 1502 E. Wallen Rd., with calling one hour prior to Mass. Visitation also from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013 at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Rd. Burial at Highland Park Cemetery. Memorials to Masses or St. Vincent dePaul Society.
