Philip James Hartman

Philip J. Hartman, 77, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Monday, August 13, 2018. He was born to the late Richard and Vera (Adams) Hartman in Fort Wayne on August 17, 1940. Phil graduated from Central Catholic High School Class of 1958. He was a tavern owner for over 30 years. Phil is survived by his daughters, Mary Beth Hartman, Karen Weller, Julie Hartman and Dianne (Donnie) Mullens; 10 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; sisters, Patricia Hoeppner, Marolyn (Leon) Krauss, and Carolyn (Dale) Snyder; and a host of family and friends. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Hartman and brothers, Jack and Tom Hartman. Funeral service will be on Thursday, August 16, 2018, at 11:00 am at C.M. Sloan and Sons Funeral Home (1327 N. Wells Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46808) with visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Tuition Assistance or Visiting Nurse Hospice Home.
