Hey everyone, today marks the one-year anniversary of Parker's passing. It's a tough time for everyone, and I know everyone deals with grief differently, but for me, the pain just feels fresh all over again. I am so grateful to everyone else who is fighting to keep his memory alive. There are a lot of emotions flying high and low right now, and I think that it would be pointless to burden anyone reading this with them.

I remember when Parker and I first became friends starting as a shy hi here and there in the halls or in our freshman classes. He was always running up to his friends to share a joke or tell us some cool facts he learned. He was a really smart kid and him not being with us deeply impacted his closest friends and even the entire school. If I could see him again or even one last time I'd give him a hug and say thank you. He's helped me with more problems with my friends and family then a lot of people and I've always tried to reach out to him when he needed me. Sadly you can only do a certain amount. With much love, I hope to see you again one day Parker. <3

It’s been 8 months now since Parker has passed, he was such a bright, shining star. Whenever he would walk in the room, the light would just revolve around him and his presences would instantly take all of your troubles away. I met Parker in Middle School show choir that we had both attended together, he was in 8th grade and I was in 7th. I had always looked up to him, how he was as a person and all. To me he is the definition of perfection. My big brother. In my 7th grade year I had been going through a lot and he was there for me through thick and thin. Always greeting me with that beautiful shiny smile of his, running to me to give me a hug “HII JOO”. He always knew how to make things better, whether that was making me laugh until I was on the floor or smiling non stop. We love and miss you so much buddy, I hope you are resting well sweetheart.💗💗💗

Hey, it's Aurora, in case whoever is reading this knows me. Parker and I have been friends ever since the beginning of his eighth grade (my seventh grade) year. We were both in the Carrol middle school SC, and I remember exactly how I met him. The choir director's daughter brought in an avocado plushy for some reason, and was showing it to people. Parker jokingly started shuffling away with it, and I grabbed his arm to bring him back. 
Unfortunately, I accidentally yanked him, and he tripped over his own feet, and flipped over a chair. I mean the chair literally FLIPPED HIM OVER just by being there. He landed on his back, and got the wind knocked out of him. I made sure he was okay, and that's how we met and became friends. 

I did not know Parker very well, but I know that he was an amazing person and he will dearly be missed by all who knew him. He will live on in our hearts forever. 

Me and Parker always had a class together every year without fail. The most recent class we had together was geometry and he would always complain about how much homework she would give us and yet he would always come with it finished. He was a very good friend and always could make me laugh. I truly miss him so much.  He always could light up a room no matter where it was. I love you Parker 💛💛

He is always in my prayers. Love you so much Parker. 💛

I remember seeing him in primary.  He was so smart!  He knew the stories so well and challenged me as a parent to step up my game 😉 Then as a teen,  I saw him with the youth, and his love for his friends radiated and was catchy.

My heart and 🙏 🙏 will be with the family . I did not know Parker but by watching the videos and seeing all the pictures he was as sweet and kind as his mother.  May Parker be at peace now it's so sad this had to happen 😔

Here in the show choir room we messed around with the camera settings on our phone, and ended up taking 0.5x pictures of everyone's faces, including Parkers. We all laughed so hard at how the camera made his forehead look so big in this picture. He would always come up to me when I was stressed, or just seeming a little off, and would ask me how I was doing- and give me a great big hug. I love you Parker.

This was the longest recording I could find of his monologue here, but every night during the show Puffs, I would wait backstage and have a great laugh along with the audience every night at Parker's hilarious acting here, he was always so funny. I would give anything just to hear that same monologue again and share the stage with him one more time. I'm gonna miss you, little buddy.

Parker was a joy to be around. A few years ago he was the MC for a talent show for a youth activity.  He helped all of the presenters feel confident and comfortable to perform. By his smile and personality, he was a light and friend to all. He was loved and admired by all. He will be missed!  We love you Parker!

I only interacted with this young man for a year, I would guess, as I was a senior when I first got into the theater group. But, even in that brief time, he left an enormous positive mark. He was a tremendous joy to watch perform; I remember how distinctly he would enunciate his lines, and it was so hilarious to watch him do his thing. He really had a sense for comedic timing, and seeing it firsthand in both Puffs and Marian are some of my strongest memories of him. He was also such a sport, and we would always have a laugh during every rehearsal! He definitely showed confidence, and he was always very self-assured when he spoke, especially in group settings. I posted a few group photos of the Puffs cast after our performances, and I think seeing him there, sharing in the camaraderie, it's most evident just how personable and spirited he was! And tonight really showed just how many lives he touched, just how many people he made smile in life, and I think that's very beautiful. Hopefully, that's something uplifting that we can emphasize, even as we take time to mourn. Take care, Parker. We all miss you.

I am one of the show choir crew dads.. Parker was  the perfect example of the type of kid that motivates an old man like myself to give it my best effort.  He made me smile every time I saw him.  I feel like you could just draw from his energy and enthusiasm.  If I had half his talent and stage presence I would be twice the man I am now. Sending my deepest condolences and sympathy to Parker’s family and friends.

My husband and I went to see the Marian play, and Parker was one of our favorite performers. I cannot imagine how everyone that loved and cared about Parker is feeling, this truly is a devastating loss to the world. I just wanted to express our condolences, and to say that we were grateful to see that inspirational performance and Parker was a huge part of what made that show and experience something I will never forget.

Parker always walked with me from our bus stop. From my first day of elementary to my lady on 6th, if we both rode we walked together. He was my first real friend, and I will forever be grateful for the smiles he gave me.

Parker was my first friend, he was the first one to be nice to me. Parker has influenced me so much, and i’m forever grateful to him. I wouldn’t be who I am today without Parker and his positivity

My daughter, Addy, used to walk to and from the bus stop with Parker.  He got the genius idea for them to walk to the first stop in the neighborhood because the bus was taking too long.  Most of the time, they made it all the way to the first stop but sometimes they didn’t and (luckily) the bus driver got them anyway.  I actually am JUST finding out that they even did this!!  Addy always looked up to Parker and says he just wasn’t the typical teenager.  He was very well mannered and interesting to talk to.  They apparently would have some pretty in depth conversations!  She’s pretty sure he thought of her as the pesky little neighbor girl but she also is pretty sure he thought of her as a friend (especially as they got older).   I will always be thankful Addy had him to look up to!  Rest In Peace Parker!

I am a food service assistant at Carroll High School. I met Parker while ringing up his lunch at my register. I liked him immediately. He quickly became one of my favorite kids. He dressed nicely, was very polite, and always had a big warm smile for me. It truly made my day when he came through my line. He had a beautiful soul and just shined with light. I am going to miss him. My deepest condolences to his friends and family. My love and prayers to all of you.

I only knew Parker for a short time, but he had quickly become someone I was excited to see in class each day. We would stay after class almost everyday to talk to our teacher and I loved watching his enthusiasm in each conversation. I was kind of jealous at how easily he could use ASL, so I’d watch him every time he would sign during class. He was so confident in my eyes. 
I also got the chance to see how caring he truly was when he put all of his attention towards comforting someone in our class when they had been crying. I only watched, but seeing him on his knees, drying her tears showed me exactly who Parker was. I’m glad I got the opportunity to meet such a sweet soul.

I remember when he was in middle school, he was in show choir with my sister. One time I was helping with the show choir and we had to collect money for something. Parker paid all in nickels! From then on out Parker was Nickel Boy and I will always remember that. He had such a fun and amazing presence. My heart goes out to all, especially close family and friends.

Parker was-and still is-the bravest, purest, and most amazing person I know. His laugh was so contagious and he carried himself with such confidence. I met him at a show choir competition and we became fast friends. We were almost inseparable. I’ll never forget his kind smile and his outstanding singing. I’ll never forget how he lit up the state whenever he performed. I love you Parker, and I promise to slay the day away (something he used to tell me) this year. I love you, and I’ll remember you forever❤️

He was so kind and welcoming to me whenever I interacted with him. He stuck up for others and looked out for them too. He was a great actor and super talented. I didn’t get to know him for long but he was a wonderful person who I’ll miss very much. My condolences to his family; the world lost an amazing person.

Some of my favorite memories with Parker were, after the PUFFS play we went to IHOP after the performance with some of the other cast members. When we were talking about the Marian play, Parker commented that Marian is like "The Play That Shall Not Be Named" because he played Voldemort, and that play was hated so, he thought it would be funny to call it that. Sami Piatt and I every day this year after ASL would walk with him to class and just smile with him. During Summer School when it was break time, Olivia Bullock and I were talking about our D&D campaign that we are part of when Parker sat with us. He would show off the characters that he made and we were planning on, our next campaign, possibly having him in it. I will miss him a lot because he was such a great guy, he didn't deserve any of the rudeness that he got. He deserved everything in the world. He will forever have a place in all of our hearts at Caroll and will miss him a lot. I wish that I got to continue to get closer with him but I didn't have any classes with him. My family, friends, and I send our condolences to you for the loss of Parker. It still doesn't feel real but we are all still slowly healing. I wish i had gotten to know him more than I did. He was always so kind to me and I felt like we understood each other. I will miss him and his contagious positive energy.

I am so sorry for your family’s loss.  I was Parker’s 4th grade teacher. Parker was such a sweet and kind little boy with always a smile on his face. He loved hugs and was always helpful in the classroom. I always enjoyed our conversations (which were many) …he loved to talk.😊 I hope you find comfort in knowing that he is in the hands of Jesus.

Parker was an amazing kid!! He always had a smile on his face and always gave the warmest hugs!  He will be truly missed! Fly high kiddo and sing with the angels!!

Paul, we are saddened at the sudden loss of your son Parker. What a handsome young man! I’m sure that his Grandpa Les is nearby helping Parker. The Larson Family is special to us. We have fond memories of you as you grew up with our kids. May you find peace and comfort knowing that the Savior knows and understands Parker and all of you as you grieve the loss of your loving son. We will pray for your family’s needs.

Parker’s heart  was filled with only good and love for all. His smile and hugs were always the best! This beautiful soul has left a handprint on all of our hearts.
