Monte B. Vincenski

Monte Vincenski, 74, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was a 1958 graduate of North Side High School. He regularly attended The Chapel. He retired from Brooks Construction Company in 2011 after more than forty years of service and was currently employed by T –E Construction. He had a love of many sports, including football, basketball, golf, and NASCAR. He was an active member of the Shoaff Park Lions Club. He was a tireless and devoted worker, who took great joy in helping others. One of his greatest joys in life was spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed taking vacations and spending time at the lake. He is survived by his devoted wife, Cindy; three sons, Kevin Vincenski and Ryan (Julie) Vincenski, both of New Haven, and Rick Vincenski of Wilmington, Delaware; and three grandchildren, Gavin, Olivia, and Avary. A memorial service will be held Friday, November 14, 2014 at 7:00 PM at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Visiting Nurse, or the S.P.C.A. Inurnment will take place in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Ossian.
