Mary Ann Meyers, 87, of Fort Wayne, died Friday, July 15, 2022, 8:56 a.m., at Swiss Village Retirement Community in Berne, Ind. Born Sept. 26, 1934, in Wabash County, Ind., she was a daughter of Robert and Beulah (Myers) Briner. Mary Ann was a 1952 graduate of Central High School in Fort Wayne and member of the all city orchestra. She married her teenage sweetheart, Duwain E. Meyers on Dec. 20, 1953, in Fort Wayne. Mary Ann was a librarian at the Fort Wayne Library for several years, secretary at South Wayne Elementary School and retired from Lutheran Hospital. She was a 67-year member of the Harvester Avenue Missionary Church. Mary Ann is survived by her husband, Duwain Meyers; children, Dean (Jan) Meyers of Muncie, Ind., Janeen (Rich) Hoover, of Plattsville, Ontario, and Gene-Bub (Deb) Meyers of Berne, Ind.; her dearly loved grandsons, Kyle Meyers, Landon Meyers, David Hoover, Todd Hoover, Trent Meyers, and Troy Meyers; precious great-grandchildren, Autumn Meyers, Nathaniel Meyers, Andrew Meyers, Margaret Meyers, Leonardo Hoover, and Lakely Meyers; and brother-in-law, Tom Julien of Winona Lake, Ind. She was prededed in death by her parents; siblings, Charles Briner, Corvin Briner, Kathleen Ruse, Wayne Briner, Ross Briner, and Doris Julien; and granddaughter, Natalie Meyers.
