Lorraine Martha Ahrens

Lorraine M. Ahrens, 88, of Fort Wayne, died on Tuesday, March 4, 2014. A lifetime member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and a member of the Altar Guild and Ladies Aid. She retired in 1986 from Moore Business Forms Inc. after 30 years of service. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Carol Ahrens; nephews, Ronald (Elaine) Ahrens and Timothy Ahrens; niece, Cheryl (Charles) Zurbrugg; great-nephews, Lucas (Tara) Ahrens, Benjamin Ahrens, Nathan (Rebekah) Zurbrugg and Weston Zurbrugg; great-niece, Sandra (Trent) Everhart; great-great-nephews, Elijah and Micah; and great-great-nieces, Lucy, Polly, Faith, Lainey, Siriah and Aelia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Emma (Rahdert) Ahrens; brother, William Ahrens. Funeral service will be 11 AM Saturday March 8, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior to service. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. Memorial donations may be given to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or School.
