Karen Lee Elston

Karen Lee Elston, age 51, rose to heaven on Monday, January 9th, 2023. Born on April 24th, 1971 in Decatur, Indiana, Karen spread love and joy in every place she called home. Her giving spirit and kind heart were derived from her love for the Lord. Karen fulfilled her purpose on this earth of being a constant light and was met at the gates of heaven with “well done good and faithful servant”. All that knew her will miss her caring heart and contagious smile. Surviving her are her husband, Phil; 4 sons, Erik (Erica), Evan, Ean, and Elliott; granddaughter Emelia; parents, Judy and Terry Jones; and sisters, Charyl and Jackie. Service is at 1:00 p.m. with a celebration of life proceeding on Sunday, January 15th, 2023 at Emmanuel Community Church, 12222 W US-24, Fort Wayne, IN 46814. Memorials may be made to the Emmanuel Community Church with a designation of the Emmanuel Christian School.
