Judy Ann Pieper

Judy Ann Pieper, 70, of Fort Wayne, Indiana went home to our Lord on July 4, 2024. She was born on December 5, 1953 in Fort Sill, Oklahoma to the late Clement S. and Katherine H. Otolski. Judy attended South Side High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Judy wore many hats throughout her lifetime. In addition to being a mother, a grandmother, and a great grandmother, she was a girl scout leader, a kitchen worker at the school, a baseball team mom, a band mom, a babysitter, and a caregiver, to name just a few. She enjoyed arranging flowers and cake decorating. She also loved being at the lake with family and friends.

Judy was a member of St. Michael Lutheran church where she served as Altar Guild Chairman for many years. She was truly the servant that God wants us all to be and she will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.

She and her husband of 51 years, Joe, were blessed with 3 children; Stacie (Ryan) Saunders of Fort Wayne, Jason (Kasey) Pieper of Albion, and Sarah (Phil) Sponseller of Syracuse, Indiana. Their family has branched out to include six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Judy dearly loved her family. The little ones and the pets certainly held a special place in her heart. She also has three sisters, Anne (Ken) Batt , Sherri (Dan) Wasson, and Janice (Dave) Capatina, all of Fort Wayne; and a brother, Mike, of Yreka, California. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Service is 11:00 am, Thursday, July 11 at St. Michael Lutheran Church, 2131 Getz Rd, Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior. Friends and family will also be received from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Wednesday, July 10 at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Covington Knolls, 8325 Covington Road. Interment at Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne.
