John Marcus Peterson

John Marcus Peterson, 89, of Fort Wayne, IN passed away on August 1, 2019. He was born on April 5, 1930 the son of John and Mary (Summers) Peterson. He married Roberta (Foster) Peterson on June 9, 1960. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. John was an avid beekeeper for several years and always enjoyed tinkering. He was an electrical engineer working at various companies throughout the years and retired in 2000. Surviving relatives include his wife, Roberta Peterson of Ft. Wayne, IN; two daughters, Roberta (Dale) Ressler of Westfield, IN; Sara (Ty) Black of Fort Wayne, IN; one brother, Dell Peterson of Colorado Springs, CO; one sister, Alice Guillaume of Pittsburgh, PA; two grandchildren, Nathan and Emma Ressler. Private family arrangements are being handled by D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Homes – Pine Valley.
