Joel Edward Fox, 69, of Huntertown, Ind., passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2015, at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home. Born September 5, 1946 in Dowagiac, MI., he was a son of the late Orlo and Dorothy (Potter) Fox. Joel was employed with GTE for over 22 years and also served in the US Navy for 4 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Jennie (Boyer) Fox of Huntertown, Ind.; sons, Bryce Fox and Joel (Andrea) Fox, both of Fort Wayne, and Adam (Dionne) Fox of Roanoke, Ind.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Carol (Bill) Hartman of Three Rivers, MI.; brothers, Chris (Diane) Fox and Kim (Linda) Fox, both of Marcellus, MI.; and many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Susan Jensen. A private memorial service will be held by the family. Memorials may be made to Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home or to the National Parkinson Foundation.
