succumbed to complications of prematurity
on May 24, 2016.
Although small in stature, his personality
and charm were evident.
His gazing eyes, curious eyebrows, stubborn grip,
and cuddling nuzzles captured our hearts forever.
Jacob has received the reward of salvation given him
by the grace of God through his redeemer, Jesus.
We are thankful that we were blessed to know him
even though only for a short while.
He is deeply loved and missed by his parents,
older sister Addison, and by so many others.
Our beautiful baby boy now joins a chorus of saints
in the presence of God.
"Let the children come to me;
do not hinder them,
for to such belongs
the kingdom of God.
Truly, I say to you,
whoever does not receive
the kingdom of God
like a child shall not enter it."
And he took them in his arms
and blessed them,
laying his hands on them.
