Eleanore was one of the original members and very involved at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, their St. Vincent DePaul Society and CHIRP.
She enjoyed traveling, playing cards and cooking. Her true passion was spending time with her loving daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Eleanore is survived by her daughters, Mary Jane (Jeff) Kupsky of Chicago, IL; Patricia (Dan) Egan of Fox River Grove, IL; Margaret Mary (Lee) Antles of Olympia, WA; Lori Deasy Leas of Fort Wayne, IN; Eileen (Michael ) Speranza of Munster, IN; Audra Piotrowski of Oregon, IL; grandchildren, David, Ray, Hannah, Jack, Alexander, Benjamin (Shelby), Nora Lee, Patrick (Bridget), Christopher, Thomas (Haley) and great-granddaughters, Lucy, Eleanor, and Olivia. She is also survived by many treasured nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law, Edwin Deasy, Daniel Deasy, and sister-in-law, Mary Deasy.
She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Deasy, daughter, Mary Elizabeth Deasy, sisters and brothers-in-law, Jane and Ken Paider, Mary and Clarence Sevcik and brother and sister-in-law, William and Dorothy Jerabek, and sisters-in-law, Maureen Deasy and Chloe Deasy.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am Thursday, November 21, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 10700 Aboite Center Road, Fort Wayne, IN, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 5-7 pm Wednesday, November 20, 2024, with a Rosary at 6:30 pm at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, IN. Committal and Burial at Covington Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be made to St. Vincent de Paul at Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church or Stillwater Hospice, both of Ft Wayne. The family would like to thank the lovely team at Bright Star and Stillwater for their compassion and loving care of Eleanore.
