David Paul Uffelman

David Paul Uffelman, 60, of Hoagland, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at Stillwater Hospice Home. David was born February 18, 1963 in Decatur, Indiana, son of the late Lester and Norma Jean (Schroeder) Uffelman. He was a graduate of Concordia High School and had worked as a diesel mechanic for Truck Maintenance, Inc. & VoMac Truck Sales & Services, Inc. Surviving David are his wife, Cara Nell Uffelman; daughter, Chelsy Uffelman; siblings, Sue (Mark) German, Sandra (Robert) Rhein, Ronald (Linda) Uffelman, and Amy Schueler; grandchildren, Gavin Blackburn, Bryson Blackburn, and My'Leigh Uffelman; step children, Shantell Hess, Brandon (Megan) Minick, and Ryan Minick; and step grandchildren, Karina Gaytan, Sofia Hess, Maria Gaytan, Addison Minick, Brandon Minick, Jr., Forrest Minick, Lilly Cox, and Ivy Cox. Funeral services will be Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Saint John Lutheran Church - Bingen, 11555 North U. S. Highway 27, Decatur, Indiana 46733. with visitation one hour prior. Visitation for David will also be held Wednesday, September 6, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46809.
