David L Lake, 79, of Fort Wayne, passed away on July 3, 2018. Born on November 13, 1938, in New Haven, he was a son of the late Virgil and Marjorie (Thompkins) Lake; and retired from Indiana & Michigan Power Company after many years of service.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Karen (Reddy) Lake; children, David (Debbie) Lake, Jeffrey Lake, Danny Lake, Penny Lake and Patrick (Mary) Stone; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; sister, Susan Ellison; brothers, Steve Lake and Terry Lake.
A Celebration of David’s Life will be held from 2 to 5pm, Monday, July 9, at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Service 2403 East Wallen Road, Fort Wayne. Memorial donations may be given to the family c/o Karen Lake.
