Cristobal "Chris" Vasquez, 71, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2018 in his home in Fort Wayne surrounded by his family. Born in Laredo, TX, Chris worked as a manager with Henry's for 38 years. He was a member of Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He enjoyed cooking, being outside enjoying a glass of wine, and spending time with family. Surviving are his brothers, Jorge, Juan (Graciela), Faustino, Guadalupe Vasquez all of Fort Wayne and Alejandro (Hermila) Vasquez of Laredo, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews that loved him. Chris was preceded in death by father, Tomas Vasquez; mother, Maria Vasquez; brothers, Tomas Vasquez, Jr. and Antonio Vasquez, Sr.; and 4 nephews. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am, Saturday, July 28, 2018 at The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1122 S. Calhoun with an hour of calling prior to the Mass. Calling at Mungovan Simple, 2114 S Calhoun St, Friday, July 27, 2018, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm with a Rosary Service at 7:00 pm. Burial in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
