Christopher R. Caldwell, of Fort Wayne Indiana, age 49, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 2, 2024, at his home, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on December 9, 1974, in Bedford, Indiana to Robert and Constance Caldwell. He was a 1993, graduate of Northrop High School and completed college at Ivy Tech in 2002.
Christopher married Kristy Bales on October 25, 2003. He was an IT Manager at Sweetwater Sound and made the world of IT fun. Chris lived life to the fullest and enjoyed Subarus, hockey, Star Wars, concerts with his buddies, craft beer, and spending time on the rugby field with Kristy and their daughters. Chris had an uncanny ability to say the funniest things in the nicest and most smart ass way. He was truly a character with a great attitude and a great sense of humor that joyfully shared inappropriate jokes with those around him.
He is survived by his wife; Kristy Caldwell, daughters; Arielle, Aurora, Addison, father; Bob (Deb) Caldwell, mother; Constance Caldwell, sister; Gretchen (Stan) Brown and many nieces and a nephew. He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Robert and Joyce Cunningham.
Family, friends and others whose lives Chris touched are invited to D.O. McCombs and Sons Pine Valley Funeral home, 1320 East DuPont Road Fort Wayne, on Saturday February 10. The viewing will be from 1-5pm, with the service beginning at 5pm.
