Carol Ann Moran

Carol Ann Moran, 63, passed away at home with her daughter, Amanda, and son- in- law, Jay Huizar, in Crofton, Maryland on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 after a courageous 3 ½ year battle with pancreatic cancer. Carol grew up in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and moved to Maryland in 1978. She was a real estate agent in the Annapolis area for over 25 years. Carol enjoyed interior decorating, was also a creative home designer, and a great cook. She had a unique style and personality. Carol was the best mother ever. She was caring and nurturing and helped to raise many of her brothers and sisters. If ever she saw an animal in need, Carol would come to its rescue. Carol will be remembered by her friends and family as being a kind, generous, and loving woman. Carol is also survived by her mother, Alice Fleck; sisters, Karen Lee, Joan Simental, Julie Fleck, Jackie Hajkowski, and Angie Wimpress; and brothers, Terry and Randy Fleck. Her beloved father, Gerald Fleck; sister, Mary Jane Fleck; and brother, David Fleck, preceded her in death. A funeral services will be 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at the Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Rd., Ft. Wayne, Indiana 46809. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at the funeral home.
