Caleb Jay McClain

Caleb Jay McClain, age 36, of New Haven, Indiana passed away Saturday March 16th, 2024 at his residence. He was born September 2, 1987 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Jay and Dawn McClain. Caleb graduated from Snider High School in Fort Wayne, Class of '06 and worked in the Auto Body and Truck Industry as a Body Shop Tech for Penske Truck Leasing for eight years, and most recently as an Auto Body Estimator at Gerber Collision. Caleb enjoyed many things, of which included going to the lake in the summer with family and friends, fishing trips with his brothers, and random adventures with the love of his life, Angela. Most important to Caleb, was his love for his three boys who meant the absolute world to him. He cherished every moment of every day he spent with them. Caleb was a friend to all he met and will be missed by so many. Surviving are his children, Jackson Jay, Cameron Charles, and Lucas Myles McClain, all of Lawrenceburg; brothers, Jason (Amy) McClain of Fort Wayne, and Patrick (Renee) McClain of New Haven; parents, Jay and Dawn McClain of Wolcottville; fiancée, Angela Miller of New Haven; and multiple nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his niece, Mackenzie Victoria McClain. Funeral Service is 11 am Saturday, April 6, 2024 at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Maplewood Park, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior. Friends and family will also be received on Friday, April 5 from 3 to 5 pm and 6 to 8 pm at the Funeral Home. Interment at Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne.
