Byron Craig Drew Jr.

Byron C. Drew, Jr., 81, of Angola, passed peacefully to his eternal home with his Savior on January 13, 2020. Born June 10, 1938 in Fort Wayne, Byron was a graduate of North Side High School, Class of 1956. He also earned a degree in Accounting at Indiana Business College and worked as an accountant until he retired. He loved to travel and enjoyed many vacations with his family in Canada, Colorado, at national parks, and snow skiing. He also enjoyed camping, boating and water sports. He was preceded in death by his parents, Byron C. and Alice C. (Rose) Drew. Byron is survived by his loving companion of 20 years, Kathryn Melton of Angola, son Bradley (Carol) of Mesa, AZ, daughter Melissa (Nathan) Benton of Fort Wayne, son David (Tracy) of New Haven, 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Curtis Drew of Scottsdale, AZ, brother Stephen Drew of Fort Wayne, and sister Karen Drew (Larry Damrau) of Angola. Memorial service is Sunday, February 9th at 3:00 pm, with visitation at 2:00 pm. Metz Christian Church, 1945 S. 800 E, Angola, IN. In memory of Byron, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Research Foundation.
