Betty Elaine Hicks

Betty E Hicks, 96, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023. Born on June 14, 1926, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Raymond L and Clista (Studebaker) Smith. Betty was employed by Hall’s Restaurants for 36 years, however her real passions were faith, family, reading, garage sales, and BINGO. She is survived by her children, Thomas (Susan) Hicks, of Rockwall, Texas, James Hicks, of Fort Wayne, and Marcia (Branch) Lew, of Auburn; eight grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband Dale W Hicks; and son, David L Hicks. Funeral service will be 2:00pm, Saturday, February 18, 2023, at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be held from 5 to 8pm, Friday, February 17, 2023, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. Memorial donations may be given to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
