Ann Irene Wireman, age 91, of Fort Wayne, Ind. and Huntertown, Ind. passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022. She was born January 9, 1931 to the late Robert Turner and Lola Mae Frauhiger. Ann worked for General Electric motor division, Dana Corporation, and retired from E.Wireman Trucking. She was the consummate letter writer, loved playing cards, and celebrating birthdays and holidays with family, especially the grandchildren. Ann is survived by her children, Candis (Gary) Turner, Bud (Dawn) Sanderson, Ken Sanderson, Debra (Rick) Cool, Richard Parsons, Eugene (Rhonda) Wireman, Jr., Annette Melnick, Kevin Wireman, and Amanda Wireman (Debby Griffin); nineteen grandchildren, twenty seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by husband, Eugene Wireman; brother, Robert Turner; best friends, Jack (Betty) Davis and Clarence (Ellen) Nuttle. Funeral Service is 10 a.m. Saturday, October 15, 2022, at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Pine Valley, 1320 E. Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. The family will also receive friends and family from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, October 14, 2022 at the funeral home.
