Wanda Johnson passed away Thursday, December 09, 2010 at Covington Court Nursing Home in Fort Smith. Wanda was born May 16, 1933 in Charleston, AR to Charlotte and Floyd Martin. She was a retired Registered Nurse from Sparks Regional Medical Center. She was a gifted musician; a wonderful cook and was even referred to as the “Kitchen Gadget Queen”; and a very special, loving and giving lady who loved her family with all her heart. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles; and her sister Jacqueta Reid.
Wanda is survived by two daughters, Ronda Smith and her husband Terry of Fort Smith and Charla Graves and her husband Dallas of Springfield, MO; two sisters, Peggy Robinson and her husband Dick of West Fork, AR and Frances Blount of Springdale, AR; one brother, Jim Martin and his wife Karol of Bull Shoals, AR; five grandchildren, Travis Smith of Hot Springs, AR, Josh Smith of Greenwood, AR, Caleb Graves of Springfield, MO, Callie Graves of Fayetteville AR and Carley Graves of Springfield, MO; and five great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
