Was born in Memphis, TN on December 21, 1949. She died surrounded in love on December 12, 2022. Suzanne grew up in Osceola, AR where she lived until she moved to Fayetteville, AR to attend the University of Arkansas in 1967.
She was a devoted Razorback who attended the UofA before graduating from Fontbonne College in St. Louis in 1971 with a Bachelors degree in Home Economics.
Throughout her professional career, Suzanne was a teacher and a later social worker with DCFS in Ft. Smith, AR until she retired in 2017.
Suzanne is survived by her daughters and their families, Adam, Jenny, Addyson, and Scarlett of Dallas, TX and Robbie, Liz, and Phoebe Lusk of Cave Springs, AR.
Suzanne loved her girls. She loved traveling, daisies, cats, Razorbacks, and being an Arkansan. Most notably Suzanne was loved. She was loved by the families she helped create through her work as an Adoption Specialist with DCFS, by friends from back in Osceola with whom she still enjoyed visiting, by her cousins, by her church community and friends in Ft. Smith. And she was loved by her girls and their girls and husbands.
Her family is comforted knowing Suzanne is celebrating her life in Heaven with our creator and her dear friends who went to Heaven before she did this year.
Her service will be held, at First United Methodist Church Sanctuary, on Friday, December 16 at 2:00. The family will receive friends immediately following in the Church Narthex.
