Shirley Terry Harper, 72, passed away June 21, 2021 in Fort Smith. She was born June 1, 1949 in Clayton, OK to Melvin Terry and Hannah (Smith) Terry. Shirley retired as the Executive Director of DHS Housing Authority. She loved her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a devoted mother to all.
She is survived by two daughters, Michele Meek of Clear Lake, MN, and Shana Parks of Bryant, AR; one son, Brian Rogers of Lavaca; one sister, Wanda Lofton of Hackett; one brother, Michael Terry and his wife Cheryl, of Booneville; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM Friday, June 25, 2021 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery, near Booneville.
Visitation will be from 12 Noon – 1 PM on Friday, prior to the service.
