Shannon Wesley Phillips, 53, of Alma, passed away October 24, 2023 in Fort Smith. He was born May 26, 1970 in Irving, TX to Baxter Wayne Phillips and Sarah Jane (Chumley) Phillips.
Shannon worked at Arvest Bank, he was an avid musician, and enjoyed playing the guitar. He was a quiet man, with a great sense of humor, and he was very generous. Shannon was of the Jehovah’s Witnesses faith, and he was deeply loved by the Alma Jehovah’s Witnesses congregation.
Shannon is survived by a daughter, Ryan A. Phillips of Waxahachie, TX; his mother, Sarah Jane Phillips of Alma; two sisters, Sebrina Turner of Pea Ridge, AR, and Jessica Phillips of Alma; two brothers, Scott Sanclemente of Bradenton, FL, and Jasen Phillips of Alma; and his paternal grandmother, Marjorie Phillips of Irving, TX.
Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. There will be a Memorial Service at a later date.
