Sarah June Hancock, 89, of Fort Smith, died August 17, 2015 in Fort Smith. She was born June 27, 1926 in Sedalia, MO. to Hugh Logan and Ida Rebecca Michael Collins. She was a homemaker and well noted Air Brush Artist in Sedalia, MO., and she was of the Methodist Faith.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Hancock of Fort Smith; two daughters, Kathleen Collins Shay of Greenwood, AR and Margaret Jean Hancock of Winterset, Iowa; one son, Paul Jeffery Hancock of Indianapolis, IN.; seven grandchildren, Eric Hancock, Mariah Hancock, Crystal Wallace, Chad Hancock, Laura Weaver, Stephanie Shay, Andrea Meneses; and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Stephen Wayne Hancock.
Memorial service will be Friday, August 21, 2015 at 1:30 PM in the Greenwood Community Bible Church with burial of cremains at a later date in the U.S. National Cemetery. Cremation and service are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
