Rachel Lucille Billings

Rachel L. Billings, 76, of Barling, died August 5, 2014 in Fort Smith. She was born January 10, 1938 in Beebe, Arkansas to Otha Elton and Irene Elizabeth Holt Strayhorn. She was a retired Photo Lab Tech for Walmart and she was of the Methodist Faith.

She is survived by two sons, Elton Billings of Hayward, CA and Tim Billings of Westfork, AR; one daughter, Shari Roberts of Fort Smith; two sisters, Bonnie Jones and Melba Lindsey both of Fort Smith; seven grandchildren, Brandi Denham, Kali Billings, Monica Roberson, Joseph Winters, III, Max Billings, Alex Billings, and Chloe Billings; and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Friday, August 8, 2014 at 10:00 AM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Oak Cemetery all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Brad Trammell, Tony Trammell, John Denham, Richard Goss, Jr., Clyde Leverett, and David Leverett.

The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 5-7 PM
