Pauline McNeill Sharum

Pauline L. McNeill Sharum, 84, of Fort Smith, passed away Monday August 30, 2010. She was born February 4, 1926 in Fort Smith to the late Robert and Alice Osborn. She was a homemaker, member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, D.A.V. Auxiliary and former member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Ft. Knox, KY. She was preceded in death by a son James “Skipper” McNeill, five brothers and three sisters.

Rosary will be 7:00 PM Thursday, September 2nd, 2010, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral mass will be 10:00 AM Friday, September 3rd, 2010 at St. Boniface Catholic Church with Father Jon McDougal officiating. Burial will be at Forest Park Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

She is survived by her husband James Sharum, children Alice Haley of Fort Smith, Ronald Haley of Fort Smith and Robert “Jeff” and Debbie McNeill of Van Buren, stepchildren Veronica Sharum Glanovsky of Honolulu, Hawaii and Roger and Barbara Sharum of Fort Smith, sister Irene Levesque of Duarte, CA, grandchildren David and Marlo Paaaina of Panama City, FL, Jeremy McNeill of Rudy, AR, Chris and Amanda Floyd of Orange Beach, AL, Ronda Haley of Pensacola, FL and Raymond and Christina Marziale of Fort Smith, great grandchildren Kasey Workman, Destiny McNeill, Jenna Floyd, Mallory Marziale and Brilee Floyd, six step grandchildren and eight step great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews throughout the United States.

Pallbearers will be Victor Moody, Chris Floyd, David Paaaina, Jeremy McNeill, Patrick Workman and Raymond Marziale. Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Sharum, Bobby Moody and Seth Sharum.

The family will visit with friends Thursday evening from 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM prior to the Rosary at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel.
