Patty Lou Byrum, age 74, of Van Buren, Arkansas passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022. Patty was born September 25, 1947 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to the late Oscar and Opal Medlin. Patty loved to go to Branson and to the Beach in Mississippi, adored her grandson and watching him play baseball and was known to always have amazing baked cookies. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Byrum and her sister Linda Stone.
Visitation for Patty will be Wednesday, September 14, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Edwards Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Thursday, September 15, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Edwards Funeral Home with burial to follow at the Fort Smith National Cemetery.
Patty will be missed by her two children Lee Byrum and Tanya (Ismael) Carrillo, and grandson Christopher Carrillo.
