Nellie worked at Continental Disc Corporation in Kansas City, MO for 30 years before retiring and moving to be close to family. She was passionate about interior design and showed her creativity in her many landscape paintings.
Nellie is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Bertie Furr, and brothers Donald Wayne Furr, Frederick Edward Furr and Harmon Nathaniel Furr.
She is survived by her daughter Pamela Shipman, granddaughter Medea Helsel, great granddaughter Lily Lamb and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Nellie was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.
Graveside service for Nellie will be Friday, April 28,2023 at 10am in Forest Park Cemetery, Fort Smith, AR.
