D. Mike Elliott of Fort Smith passed away at home January 31, 2024. He was born June 29, 1940 in Tulsa, OK. He retired from General Electric/Trane, after thirty-seven years in Louisville, KY and Fort Smith. He was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Mike loved cars. He restored numerous British cars for which he won many awards. He later became a Covette enthusiast, restoring several Corvettes and being active in the Razorback Corvette Club. He enjoyed their trips to the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY.
He is survived by his loving wife of sixty-two years, Sheila; one daughter, Kim Craig (Eddy) of Fort Smith; and two grandchildren, Matthew Craig and Abby Craig both of Fort Smith.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 6, 2024, from 5-7 PM at Edwards Funeral Home.
The family will have a private graveside at a later date.
