Michael “Mike” Hampton, 68, of Barling, passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022. He was born on April 16, 1953 in Fort Smith to the late Quimby and Barbara Hampton. Mike was a truck driver for over 20 years and a member of Haven Heights Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Paul Hampton.
Funeral Service will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday at Haven Heights Baptist Church, with interment at Oak Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
He is survived by his daughter, Serena Hampton of Springdale; four sons, Chase Hampton (Christian), Cory Hampton (Ashley), Cody Hampton (Rebecca) and Cameron Hampton, all of Greenwood; two brothers, Donald Hampton (Pat) of Barling and Scottie Hampton (Tracy) of Fort Smith; nine grandchildren; Natalie Hampton, Tanner Steinkamp, Caiden Hampton, Hunter Hampton, Gage Steinkamp, Connor Hampton, Grayson Hampton, Aubree Hampton and Journee Hampton.
In lieu of the weather, the visitation has been rescheduled from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Friday at the church, one hour prior to the service.
